Brainstreaming™

This one-day workshop presented by Louis Mangione engages teachers from all disciplines in the use of effective, active-learning strategies designed to increase classroom participation, develop essential problem solving skills and promote creativity.  The activities are presented in an interactive format that allows teachers to participate in the collaboration, innovation and higher-order thinking that form the basis of powerful classroom learning experiences.  Participants will gain an expanded repertoire of dynamic instructional strategies that will be easily incorporated into an existing curriculum.

N.B.  This workshop focuses much more on student-centered instructional strategies. It also addresses the importance of student responsibility and student choice in an extended period. Participants will leave this seminar with a renewed excitement for the role we are honored to have as teaching professionals, and with a valuable resource handbook filled with ready-to-use materials and activities.
